Homemade Basil Walnut Pesto

Ingredients

Instructions


In a food processor, add basil, walnuts, garlic, and Parmesan (if using). Pulse until finely chopped.
With the motor running, slowly stream in olive oil until the mixture forms a creamy paste. Scrape down sides as needed.
Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend again until smooth and vibrant green.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more oil for a thinner consistency if desired.
Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.
